Talent Nation is partnering with Hand Heart Pocket, a purpose-led organisation at the forefront of responsible and impact investing to appoint an Investment Analyst (Business Intelligence).

The Role
Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer, you will contribute to the full investment lifecycle - combining data analysis, systems management and stakeholder engagement to support high-quality, values-aligned investment outcomes.
This role offers significant exposure to responsible and impact investing, and philanthropic partnerships, alongside involvement in strategic initiatives and board-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities
In addition to coordinating and supporting investment analysis, and reporting, the Investment Analyst will:
  • Maintain and enhance investment systems, dashboards and data infrastructure to support performance monitoring across financial, risk and impact metrics
  • Conduct investment analysis and support due diligence on prospective responsible and impact investments
  • Contribute to investment reporting, proposals, and materials for the Investment Committee and Board
  • Support philanthropic partnership management, including engagement and reporting
  • Assist with implementation of strategic initiatives, projects and KPI reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across philanthropy, governance, operations and member engagement
  • Track sector developments and help build relationships with key investment and philanthropic stakeholders
About You
You are a commercially-minded Analyst who combines strong data capability with an interest in purpose-driven investment. Key attributes we are seeking include:
  • Experience in investment analysis, business intelligence, data systems or related roles.
  • Strong analytical capability with a proven track record of delivering insights in investment or data environments.
  • The ability to support decision-making through robust analysis and structured thinking.
  • Experience contributing to projects and implementing initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, data or a related discipline.
An interest in impact investing, responsible investment or philanthropy will be highly regarded.
