For each placement Talent Nation completes we like to give a little bit more and make a donation to a chosen organisation or not-for-profit on our client’s behalf.

The organisations we choose to support are selected based on their alignment with Talent Nation’s vision to achieve positive and sustainable social, environmental and economic outcomes.

The Climate Council www.climatecouncil.org.au

After thousands of Australians chipped into Australia’s biggest crowd-funding campaign, the abolished Climate Commission has relaunched as the new, independent Climate Council. They exist to provide independent, authoritative climate change information to the Australian public. Why? Because our response to climate change should be based on the best science available. They are a fast growing group of people made up of expert Councillors, staff, volunteers and supporters. Together they are doing everything they can to spread independent and accurate information on climate change.

 


 

The Foundation for Young Australians www.fya.org.au

It takes nearly five years for young people to find full-time work after full-time education. FYA think that’s rubbish. But they have a plan. The Foundation for Young Australians backs, connects and inspires young people to solve tomorrow’s problems today. They find and back entrepreneurs in the making. They run initiatives in schools to build enterprising skills for the future of work. And they inspire and connect a community of 100,000+ young changemakers to rethink the world and create a better future.

 


 

Good Shepherd Microfinance www.goodshepherdmicrofinance.org.au

Good Shepherd Microfinance is Australia’s largest microfinance organisation. They offer a suite of people-centred, affordable financial programs for people on low incomes at different financial stages of their lives. Their aim, together with those of their community partners, is to enable clients to realise their own economic wellbeing, as they define it themselves, through appropriate financial services. As a result, people feel valued, accepted and included and in control of their own finances and lives. Their programs have reached more than 170,000 people previously excluded from mainstream banking access to loans and savings, with repayment rates consistently above 95%
