Responsible for the management and implementation of the Sustainability Strategy, this role will provide technical support, education and influence to the business. You will ensure sustainability is integrated seamlessly into all stages of the asset management and development process.
Key responsibilities will include:
Promoting sustainability credentials to internal and external stakeholders through various mediums such as case studies and sustainability reporting
Representing the company in external forums and working groups with the view of influencing building performance policies and standards to address sustainability
Identifying opportunities for improvement in all aspects of sustainability
Maintain and improve systems and processes related to sustainability
Developing business cases and identify funding opportunities
Project management of reporting and pilot projects on time and within budget
Stakeholder engagement internally with asset and development teams
Management of external consultants
To be successful in this role you will have:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant degree to property and the built environment
5+ years proven experience within a property or social sustainability role for an FTSE, ASX listed company
Experience with GRESB, GBCA, NABERS, Green Star, Water, Waste, Recycling, IAQ and WELLNESS
A strong understanding of environmentally sustainable design, preferably with experience in delivery
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently with experience using a data management system
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate staff, communicate with employees and engage with management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Highly organised, self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities
