As an Environmental Compliance Advisor you will provide support to the Environment Sustainability Manager in the activities required to provide governance over enterprise level business risk exposure from Contaminated Sites and support Environment Sustainability actions and initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring activities as specified within work plan in consultation with the Contaminated Sites Portfolio team
Ensuring regular progress reviews are undertaken against PMP Work Plan
Completing cyclical reporting for presentation to Contaminated Sites Steering Committee.
Manage budget and consultants for work required to meet strategic objectives;
Manage cyclical internal Greenhouse gas emission reporting and collate data for NGERS and NPI
With strong project management skills and a high level of effectiveness in team situations under the pressure of multiple deadlines; you will thrive in seeing the impact that you are having on the portfolio of sites under our clients control.
Ideally you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Earth Sciences, Engineering or Environmental Science / Management.
5+ years experience as an Environment or Sustainability Advisor or Consultant.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of environmental and related legislation
